Diorama
This is the diorama my daughter made for a book report over a year ago. It was one of my favorite books when I was younger (you know, out of like a thousand favorites) and I helped her and thought she did such a good job. We found it cleaning her room the other day and although I would like to keep it I know that is not reality and took a picture before we dumped it.

What was the book?
I could have said that huh? It's My Mother the Witch. About a girl and her mom (Dad lost at sea) around 1680. She hears people wisper about her mom and others being witches. There is no witch craft of course.
Have you read The Witch of Blackbird Pond? It's one of our favorites. Same idea. Witch. No witchcraft.
Years and Years ago. But I never owned a copy so I never read it again. I'll have to pick it up. Can't say S liked it as well as I did, but she's not a loves-to-read. Some things are only wonderful to you because of your own memories, experiences etc. I guess this might be one of them.
I rarely like any books as an adult that I read as a child. Now I don't bother to read them because I don't want to risk ruining the memory I have.
Good point Tammy, I actually feel that way about many of the books too.
